Awake 21 2012: 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting
This January we will be joining with over a thousand churches all over the world to do something called Awakening. Awakening is a 21 day season of prayer, fasting and personal devotion that takes place January 8-29th, 2012.
Start the New Year strong and join us on this 21 day journey of fasting and prayer. Fasting hits the reset button of our souls. We are praying and believing for breakthroughs, salvations, and for advancement of the Kingdom of God.
We can’t think of any better way to start 2012 then by seeking God’s face as a community.
The goal is to fast and pray together at the onset of the year, to position our church and leadership for maximum effectiveness in the upcoming year.
We are providing a few tools that we think will be helpful.

Current Message Series: Immanuel – God With Us

Jesus made a simple promise, I will never leave you nor forsake you. But He does not always show up the way we expect in packages we expect.
God is extraordinary but shows up in the midst of ordinary people’s lives.
The Mission Delray Christmas Party

Sunday, December 11th, at 6:30 pm, The Mission is having our Christmas party! We are having our annual Christmas party again at Veteran’s Park in Delray Beach. This year is sure to be the greatest party yet. It is going to be fully catered by a local restaurant, there will be a professional DJ and we promise to have the funniest talent show ever!
Pictures from the party are here.
There are some videos here.
If you have pictures online tag The Mission Delray’s Facebook so others can see.
Baptism

The Mission is having it’s next water baptism December 4th. If you have been saved, it is time to get baptized!
- Acts 2:41 we observe that they received the word, THEN they were baptized.
- In Acts 8:12,36,37 we find that they believed, THEN they were baptized.
- In Acts 10:43,44,47, it is plain to see that those who believed received the Holy Ghost, and THEN they were baptized. (Lost people do not receive the Holy Ghost).
When the Philippian jailer asked, “What must I do to be saved?” they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved….” (Acts 16:30-34). Paul did not tell him to be baptized to be saved. His baptism came AFTER his believing, which sets the scriptural standard.
If you want to be baptized or attend The Mission baptism complete the form below or see someone at the Next Steps table at church.
On the date you plan to be baptized:
- Attend The Mission service.
- Listen to this message on baptism. You can pick up a free CD of the message at the Next Steps table at church.
- Bring a towel and change of clothing. Please wear appropriate dark-colored clothing for the baptism.
Current Message Series – I Am Your Sign

Jesus has a two part plan on the earth, Our Good and His Glory. He wants us to be transformed into His likeness so we can be a sign to this present age. In short, we are His calling card.
Join us in this message series as we study how we can be a sign to this generation as we make Jesus famous in south Florida.

Manifesting the Glory

Jesus turned water into wine at a wedding. The Bible says, “This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory. And his disciples believed in him.” (John 2:11 ESV) We need the Glory of God manifested in a greater way today so the world will believe in Him.

Apostle David Copeland Oct 9, 2011
Apostle David Copeland: Be sure to join us next week as Apostle David Copeland joins us in ministering the Word. Pastor David has been part of Pastor Carl’s life since before the birth of The Mission Delray and is received as an Apostle to this house.
Having just returned from five weeks in Kenya establishing churches and leading crusades, we are confident that The Mission will receive a fresh move of the Spirit and a clear word for the house.
