Baptism

The Mission has baptisms roughly every other month. If you have been saved, it is time to get baptized!
- Acts 2:41 we observe that they received the word, THEN they were baptized.
- In Acts 8:12,36,37 we find that they believed, THEN they were baptized.
- In Acts 10:43,44,47, it is plain to see that those who believed received the Holy Ghost, and THEN they were baptized. (Lost people do not receive the Holy Ghost).
When the Philippian jailer asked, “What must I do to be saved?” they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved….” (Acts 16:30-34). Paul did not tell him to be baptized to be saved. His baptism came AFTER his believing, which sets the scriptural standard.

On the date you plan to be baptized:
- Attend The Mission service.
- Listen to this message on baptism. You can pick up a free CD of the message at the Next Steps table at church.
- Arrive at the baptism site by 3 p.m. click here for directions
- Bring a towel and change of clothing. Please wear appropriate dark-colored clothing for the baptism.

This Sunday, February 22, Pastor Pedro Ortiz from Light for the Nations will be preaching at The Mission.
Pastor Pedro and Pastor Carl have been the closest of friends for years. Pastor Pedro carries a strong revival anointing with prophecy, exhortation, and healings common in his meetings.
Pastor Pedro is an ordained minister and serves along with his wife Audrey on staff at Light for the Nations in Boca Raton.

21 Days of Prayer and Fasting Resources

The fast is a spiritual discipline designed to better connect us with God. As a church, we are fasting to prepare our hearts for what God is going to do, and to stretch our faith to believe Him for big miracles. The best way to do this is to redirect our food source. This is accomplished through substituting our regular food intake with Bible reading, praying, and journaling. The overall goal is to experience a genuine hunger for spending time with God and to grow our faith in what God can do!

Awakening 2010 – 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting

Awakening is a 21 day season of prayer and fasting that takes place at the beginning of each year. As we approach 2010 we want to invite you to make plans now to participate January 10th-30th, 2010.
As a church, we have seen increased salvations, breakthroughs and miracles as we chose to put God first at the onset of the year. This year, we are uniting with several other churches to pray and fast together, aligning ourselves with the power and favor of God. Just imagine what can happen if the Body of Christ unites behind this purpose that is so close to the heart of God. What a powerful way to start off the year. If you have a desire to pray and fast, this is a great way to do it.
Delray Beach Christmas Service December 27th

On Sunday, December 27th The Mission will be having a Christmas Service titled “Jesus, Hope for Humanity.” We wont have any donkeys, or bloody people walking through the service. We will talk about the hope that comes through knowing Jesus. This Christmas break the religious ritual. Come experience a vibrant faith at The Mission.
