What to Expect

1. What is your Sunday service like?
At The Mission, you’ll find a friendly atmosphere with exciting and fresh worship music. There are message notes in every bulletin and a large-screen (with the Bible verses) help you make the most of the practical and relevant message. Children are cared for in loving, quality classes and fun-filled Mission Kids service & small groups.

2. What will happen when I visit for the first time?
If you are visiting, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money.  We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for a while—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if The Mission is for you.

3. What do I wear to attend your services?
You’ll find everything from shorts and flip flops to dress shirts and skirts.  Come in what is comfortable for you, because The Mission is not about what you look like or what you wear.

5. Do you have a midweek service?
We do not have a midweek service.  Instead, we focus on Connection Groups – who meet weekly for Bible Study, Prayer and Fellowship.  We know that in today’s culture, people don’t have much time for extra commitments.  So, we want to keep our focus simple . . . and for us, that looks like Connection Groups.

6. What about my children?
At The Mission, your children are a top priority. From Babies, Toddlers and Pre-K’s through age 9 our facilities are clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. We offer a dynamic children’s ministry called Mission Kids.

7. How can I meet others and get connected?
There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by attending Pizza with the Pastor, where Pastor Carl and the staff take you out to lunch. Connection groups are another great way to meet others. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith.

8. Why do you have connection groups?
Connection are an important part of The Mission; in fact, you haven’t fully experienced the church until you’ve experienced our connection groups. Groups allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that will encourage your relationship with God. As The Mission continues to grow, groups allow us to “stay small” and connected. Groups are available for all ages and held at various times—there’s bound to be one that’s just right for you.
