Raised in Delray Beach, Pastor Carl graduated from the University of Florida after serving in the United States Coast Guard. It was in Gainesville that he first met his wife Tracey. They married in 2000 and have two children.
Pastor Carl has a passion for the lost and for equipping Saints to operate in their spiritual gifts. At The Mission, Pastor Carl and his wife Tracey work together in ministry. Together they see the Lord use them to bring freedom, healing and wholeness to broken lives.

Sergio Barbosa

Sergio Barbosa is a licensed minister and is the Director of Creative Arts. In addition to his Sunday morning duties, Sergio works at The Mission in all facets of administration.
Sergio grew up in a Christian home, but the lack of power left him hungering for more. Seeking for the “more,” Sergio pursued a life of crime and drugs during his teenage years in addition to leading a rap group.
Sergio gave his life to the Lord through an encounter with God’s love. But not only did God redeem Sergio, He redeemed his musical talents and his rap group.
Today he works to see God’s Kingdom demonstrated in the church. God continues to use Sergio’s talents to write worship songs that are contemporary to this generation as well as his rap group.
Sergio and his wife Khamille host a Connection Group at their home in Boca Raton.
